ALERT!  ALERT!  Brianna Murray seen on the beach at 6:00 a.m. Miracles are happening every day.  Here, she and Meredith enjoy some sunrise gazing and shell collecting.  Unfortunately, no cute guys are out this early (except Frank). The papparatzi have found beach bums Valerie and Frank as they stroll down New Smyrna Beach after dinner.
         
Valerie seen here as she stars in the new Ford Focus commercial.  Nothing like a drive on the beach, unless the tide is coming in. One of the last beaches in Florida at Daytona where you can drive on. Valerie and Brianna enjoy a refreshing dip...."shark, did someone say shark?"
Levels, Murrays and Mardles gather for vacation fun.  Harrison and Maddie enjoyed swimming and playing with cousin Brianna.  Happy Birthday greetings were also celebrated. Arghhhhh mates.  Pirates have been spotted.  For Frank's birthday, Brianna and Valerie sent Frank on a treasure hunt throughout the house.  Special maps and secret codes helped Frank find his birthday "bootie."
    
St. Simon's lighthouse is haunted but was truly a treasure to find.  Vacation note:  Savannah is HOT in the summer and there is little breeze....makes "southern charm" a bit difficult.  Nevertheless, we found it quaint and tourist friendly.  We stayed at the oldest hotel there, Marshall House (would highly recommend to anyone going there).  Plenty of history.
    
We where lucky. Our street suffered very little compared with some areas. The eye of the hurricane passed over our house in Orlando. Brianna and Valerie discovered the phrase "hunkered down" as they braced for Hurricane Charley.  He left us "in the dark" for a week.  Trees and power lines down, floods, sewage backups, and short tempers across down all brought out the best and worst in people.  Thanks to mom and Meredith for hosting the crew at their house (no power lost there).
